Off-Delay Relay
Time relay that keeps its output active for a configured period after the control signal is removed.
An OFF-delay relay provides delayed disconnection of a load after the control signal disappears or another end condition is met.
After the signal is removed, the output remains active for the configured delay and changes state only after the timing period has elapsed.
This mode is used for delayed shutdown of fans, pumps, lighting, ventilation systems, and other loads that must continue operating for a period after the main process ends.
Selection criteria include triggering and reset method, timing range, accuracy, repeatability, need for a separate control input, and output-contact characteristics.
This subcategory includes OFF-delay time relays and other devices whose principal function is to maintain an active output for a defined period after removal of the control signal.
