DALI Gateway
Gateway for integrating DALI/DALI-2 lighting systems with other networks and automation systems.
A DALI gateway connects the lighting bus to KNX, BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet, or another supervisory system. It may address and control DALI devices, groups, and scenes while forwarding status, alarms, and diagnostic data.
Depending on the implementation, one or more DALI lines, integrated bus power, DALI-2 Input Devices, emergency lighting, colour control, and energy data may be supported. Mapped-object capacity, mapping to the supervisory protocol, and update time are also important.
Selection criteria include supervisory protocol, number of DALI lines and devices, commissioning functions, diagnostics, bus power, isolation, and declared compliance with IEC 62386.
