Zigbee Gateway
Zigbee network gateway and controller for managing wireless devices and integrating them with external systems.
A Zigbee gateway normally performs the network Coordinator role and is responsible for forming, maintaining, and securing the mesh network. It manages device joining, network keys, addressing, routing, groups, and binding.
Depending on the model, Zigbee 3.0, Green Power, Touchlink, OTA Upgrade, and various Zigbee Cluster Library profiles and clusters may be supported. Advanced devices may provide neighbour and route diagnostics, device-table management, data mapping to MQTT or other interfaces, and backup/restore mechanisms.
Selection criteria include Coordinator role, maximum device capacity, child and routing-entry limits, 2.4 GHz channels, transmit power, receiver sensitivity, security, and backend integration capability.
This subcategory includes Zigbee Coordinators, gateways, and network controllers for building automation, IoT, and wireless-device management.
