Digital Output Module
I/O module for controlling discrete loads according to commands from the controller.
A digital output module converts controller logic states into electrical signals for relays, valves, lamps, and other loads. Outputs may be transistor, relay, or solid-state types.
Key characteristics include channel count, operating voltage, permissible current per channel and group, switching frequency, and turn-on and turn-off times. Depending on the design, short-circuit, overload, and thermal protection, channel diagnostics, group disconnection, and galvanic isolation may be provided.
