Internal Partition
Structural element used to physically divide the internal space of an electrical enclosure, cabinet, or distribution assembly into separate zones or compartments.
An internal partition is used to divide the space inside an electrical enclosure, cabinet, or distribution assembly. It allows separate functional zones to be created for different groups of equipment, cable routes, busbars, terminals, and other components.
The partition may be used to mechanically separate power, control, communication, or other equipment, reduce interaction between components, and organize the internal layout.
Depending on the design, the partition may be solid or perforated, fixed or removable, horizontal or vertical. It may be attached to a frame, mounting profiles, a panel, or directly to the enclosure.
Selection criteria include dimensions, thickness, material, installation method, orientation, perforation, mechanical strength, and compatibility with the cabinet or enclosure construction.
This subcategory includes internal separation panels, horizontal and vertical partitions, inter-section dividers, and other elements used to create separate zones inside electrical enclosures and cabinets.
