Mounting Plate
Structural panel for mechanically arranging and securing electrical devices, DIN rails, wiring ducts, and other components inside an enclosure, cabinet, or distribution assembly.
A mounting plate provides an internal supporting surface for electrical, electronic, and control equipment. It is installed inside an electrical enclosure, cabinet, distribution assembly, or other mounting structure and forms the basis for equipment layout.
Electrical devices, DIN rails, terminal blocks, wiring ducts, power supplies, controllers, relays, contactors, and other components may be fixed directly to the plate. Fixing may use holes, threaded elements, mounting profiles, or other means provided by the design.
Mounting plates may be solid or perforated. For perforated versions, hole shape, dimensions, and horizontal and vertical pitch are important. The plate is also characterized by its external dimensions, thickness, material, coating, permissible mechanical load, and method of attachment to the supporting structure.
Selection criteria include the dimensions of the available mounting space, equipment weight and arrangement, compatibility with fasteners, perforation geometry, material, mechanical strength, and operating conditions.
