Device description

EV Dynamic Load Balancer

Module that automatically changes EV charging power according to the current electrical load of a site.

An EV dynamic load balancer measures or receives current site load and regulates charging so that the available site-connection limit is not exceeded.

It may operate with one or multiple charging stations and redistribute spare capacity among active charging sessions.

With local PV generation, the module may use surplus solar power for EV charging.

The system typically communicates with an energy meter, CT sensors, EVSE, or a local controller.

Selection criteria include number of supported points, load-measurement method, regulation speed, phase control, and PV-surplus charging support.
