AC EV Charger
Stationary AC EVSE for controlled transfer of alternating-current power to an electric vehicle through Type 2 or another compatible charging interface.
An AC EV charger controls safe connection of an electric vehicle to the AC supply network, while AC/DC conversion is normally performed by the vehicle onboard charger.

Key parameters include number of phases, rated and maximum power, charging current, connector type, cable, protective functions, metering, and network interfaces.
Selection criteria include site electrical capacity, vehicle connection type, RCD/RDC-DD requirements, authorization method, and integration with the charging-management system.
