Rotary Switch
Panel-mounted switch with a rotary operator for selecting electrical control or switching states.
Rotary Switch is a manually operated control element intended to generate an electrical command by mechanically actuating one or more contact blocks.
Selection considers operator type and action, color, shape, diameter, height, operating force and travel, bezel material, and anti-rotation features. The number and configuration of contact blocks, AC-15 and DC-13 contact ratings, minimum switching characteristics, and electrical endurance are also relevant.
Rotation range and direction, number of positions, OFF/zero position, pole count, deck arrangement, and mechanical position interlocks are considered.
For panel mounting, panel thickness, front projection, rear mounting depth, fixing method, gasket, and anti-rotation opening requirements are considered.
Rotary switches for control, mode selection, and signal switching.
