Cable Entry Plate
Panel plate with integrated membranes or seals for compact routing of multiple cables through an enclosure.
A cable entry plate replaces multiple individual glands with one component containing many cable entry positions.
Cables are passed through flexible membranes, prepared holes or other integrated sealing elements. The approach reduces installation time and increases cable density on a limited panel area.
Plate and membrane materials influence temperature range, environmental resistance and the ability to maintain the declared IP rating after membranes are pierced or cut.
Selection should verify number of positions, cable diameter ranges, plate and cut-out dimensions, mounting method, material, IP rating and the possibility of adding cables later.
