Panel Feedthrough
Panel interface used to carry one or more electrical circuits through the wall of a cabinet, panel or machine.
A panel feedthrough creates an organised transition between the inside and outside of an enclosure and may be implemented as a detachable connector or fixed feedthrough.
The interface may carry power, control, signal, communication or hybrid circuits. Number of independent poles and connector family define the functional capability.
Mounting method, panel-cutout geometry, mating/coupling mechanism and degree of protection after connection are important. Shielding may also be required for sensitive signals.
Selection should consider pole count, connector family, rated current and voltage, panel cut-out, IP rating, shielding and service requirements.
Panel feedthroughs and connectors for power, signals and data interfaces.
