Phase Barrier
Insulating barrier between adjacent phase terminals or poles to increase electrical separation and reduce flashover risk.
A phase barrier physically separates neighbouring live parts belonging to different phases.
It increases creepage distance and clearance between poles, especially around power terminals and cable lugs.
Its use may be required at certain voltage levels, with large cable terminations or under specific installation conditions.
Selection criteria include device series, pole count, mounting position, terminal geometry and the insulation distances required by the manufacturer.
Phase barriers for power breakers, contactors and other multipole devices.
