Signal Contact
Contact accessory used to report a specific state or event of the main device.
A signal contact transfers a discrete device state to an external circuit.
Depending on the design, it may indicate ON, OFF, ready, tripped or another defined condition.
It is used in automation, local and remote indication, supervisory systems and inter-device interlocking circuits.
Selection criteria include the exact indication function, number and type of contacts, permissible electrical loads and mounting position on the compatible host device.
Signal contacts for electrical devices and remote status indication systems.
