SPD Replacement Cartridge
Replaceable protective cartridge for a modular surge protective device, containing the main surge-limiting element.
An SPD replacement cartridge contains the primary protective element and is installed in the fixed base of a modular surge protective device.
When its protection life is exhausted or the cartridge fails, it can be replaced without removing the complete base or reconnecting field conductors.
The electrical characteristics of the replacement module must match the type and series of the SPD base.
Selection criteria include SPD type, rated and maximum continuous operating voltage Uc, protection level Up, discharge-current ratings and compatibility with the specific base.
Replacement cartridges for modular surge protective devices.
